Updated Ninja Terminal team
The short version
Trading on each exchange's own web app gives the full native feature set of that exchange, including its algorithmic orders, but means one tab, login and layout per venue. Ninja Terminal connects Binance, OKX, Bybit and Hyperliquid accounts in one browser workspace, with Quick Entry, routing across accounts and integrated news. Both execute on your own exchange account.
Most active traders hold accounts on more than one exchange. The default way to trade them is to keep each exchange’s own web app open in a separate tab. That works, and it gives you every feature the exchange builds. The cost is context switching: different layouts, different order tickets, different symbol formats and no shared view of risk. Ninja Terminal is one workspace that sits on top of those same accounts.
This page compares the two approaches in general terms. Each exchange differs, so confirm details in the exchange’s own help center.

Where exchange web apps are stronger
- Full native feature set. Funding, withdrawals, account settings, earn products and every product the exchange launches live there first. Ninja Terminal is not an exchange, custodian or broker.
- Native algorithmic orders. Binance documents a Futures TWAP with a 5 minute to 24 hour duration. OKX provides a TWAP trading bot. Bybit documents TWAP and Chase Limit orders. Hyperliquid lists TWAP, Scale and Chase order types. Ninja Terminal does not list these order types.
- No extra tool. You sign in directly, with no API key to create or manage.
Where Ninja Terminal is stronger
- One workspace for four venues. Binance, OKX, Bybit and Hyperliquid, with several accounts per exchange, nicknamed and switched with Alt+1 to Alt+9. See workspace layouts.
- Command-line orders with routing. Quick Entry takes
btc l 100k, shows a live preview and places on Enter. Smart routing can pick the best account or split an order across several accounts, with checks for flips, margin ratio, equity reserve and liquidation distance. - News connected to execution. Real-time headlines carry sentiment coloring and an importance filter. Detected coins become chips, and a click loads Quick Entry.
- Cross-venue analytics. Realized PnL, win rate, profit factor and fees by symbol and by exchange across all connected accounts.
- Keys on your device. Keys are encrypted with AES-256-GCM and stay in your browser. Create trade-only keys without withdrawal permission, and pin them to the IP whitelist shown at setup. See accounts and key security.
Which should you choose?
| If you are… | Consider |
|---|---|
| Trading mostly on one exchange and relying on its native algorithms | That exchange’s own web app |
| Managing funding, withdrawals and account settings | The exchange’s own web app |
| Running accounts on two or more of Binance, OKX, Bybit and Hyperliquid | Ninja Terminal, alongside the exchange apps |
| Splitting one entry across several accounts quickly | Ninja Terminal |
| Reacting to news with a ready order | Ninja Terminal |
Many traders use both: Ninja Terminal for entries and monitoring, the exchange app for funding and settings. See the exchanges overview for each venue.
Ninja Terminal is not an exchange, custodian or broker, and nothing here is investment advice.
Frequently asked questions

Is Ninja Terminal safer than using an exchange's own app?
They are different. Orders in both execute on your own exchange account, and Ninja Terminal never holds funds. Ninja Terminal stores API keys encrypted on your device, so use trade-only keys without withdrawal permission and an IP whitelist.
Do I still need the exchange apps if I use Ninja Terminal?
Yes, for anything Ninja Terminal does not do. It is not an exchange, custodian or broker, so deposits, withdrawals and account management stay on each exchange.
