Trading Workspace Layouts, Themes, and Settings

STANDARD · THREE COLUMN · WIDE CHART · SPLIT · MINIMAL

Updated Ninja Terminal team

Short answer

Ninja Terminal ships five dashboard layouts: Standard, Three Column, Wide Chart, Split View, and Minimal. Each arranges the chart, order form, positions, favorites bar, and news panel differently, and you can drag the dividers to resize panels. Themes, font size, number and time formats, and an English or Turkish interface are set in Settings.

Traders do not all look at the same things. A scalper wants a large chart and an order form. A news trader wants the feed beside the chart. Someone who manages several accounts wants positions in view all the time. Ninja Terminal handles this with a small set of tested layouts, and settings that change how everything is drawn.

What are the five layouts?

Each layout is a preset arrangement of the same panels. Every layout has a favorites bar across the top, a chart, and a positions panel. They differ in the other panels and in proportions.

Layout Panels Intended for
Standard News panel, chart, order form, positions A larger news panel next to the chart. This is the default
Three Column News, chart, and order form side by side, positions under the chart Watching news while you trade
Wide Chart Large chart with an order form sidebar and positions below Chart-first trading
Split View Chart and positions split about equally, order form on the right Managing open positions as much as entries
Minimal Full-width chart with positions below A clean chart with nothing else

The panels are: chart, order form (where Quick Entry lives), positions, favorites bar, and news stream. A portfolio panel also exists. Wide Chart, Split View, and Minimal do not include the news panel.

How do I switch layouts and resize panels?

Open Settings, choose Appearance, and select a layout in the Layout card. The change applies to your workspace at once. Inside a layout, panels sit in split containers. Drag the divider between two panels to resize them. Minimum sizes stop a panel from shrinking to the point where it cannot be used, and the ratio you set is stored with the layout.

Layout choices are stored in your browser. On a second computer, check that the layout is the one you want.

What can I change in Appearance?

  • Theme. Dark, Midnight, Black, Slate, Warm, and Light are the core themes. Where enabled, expressive themes called Gallery, Phosphor, TUI, Raw, and Teletext restyle surfaces and type as well as color.
  • Font size. Five steps, from extra small to extra large.
  • Chart appearance. Candlesticks, hollow candles, or Heikin-Ashi, with color presets for up and down candles. See charting.
  • Time. Local time, UTC, New York, London, Tokyo, Singapore, or Hong Kong, with an optional 24-hour clock.
  • Number format. 1,234.56, 1.234,56, or 1 234.56.

A reset button restores all appearance settings to their defaults.

Which languages are available?

The interface is available in English and Turkish. A separate News Translation setting decides whether the original text or the Turkish translation shows first in the news feed.

What about shortcuts and privacy?

Settings lists the default shortcuts. Cmd+K or Ctrl+K focuses Quick Entry, and Cmd+F or Ctrl+F opens market search. Tab, Enter, and Esc work inside Quick Entry, and Alt+1 to Alt+9 switches the selected account there. Custom shortcut bindings are not available yet.

A balance visibility toggle hides all amounts on screen with one click, which helps when you share your screen or work in public. Amounts return as soon as you switch it off.

Is there a mobile layout?

Yes. On a phone, Ninja Terminal uses a dedicated mobile layout instead of the desktop panels. It has tabs for the chart, trade, positions, and news, and it supports push notifications. The mobile trade tab focuses Quick Entry for fast entries. Accounts can be moved from a computer to a phone by QR code, as described in accounts and key security.
