Crypto News Feed Inside a Trading Terminal

BTC ETH → QUICK ENTRY TREENEWS · PHOENIX · X SOURCES · SECRET WORDS

Updated Ninja Terminal team

Short answer

The Ninja Terminal news feed streams real-time crypto headlines and posts from TreeNews, Phoenix, BWE, Telegram, and X into the trading workspace. Each item is scored for importance and sentiment, and detected coins become chips you can click to open the market. Keyword rules highlight and alert on the words you choose.

A headline is only useful if you can act on it before the move is over. In most setups the news lives in one window, the chart in another, and the order ticket in a third. The Ninja Terminal news feed sits in the same workspace as the chart and the order form, so reading, checking, and trading happen on one screen.

Where does the news come from?

The feed merges several providers into one stream:

Source Type
TreeNews News and social posts
Phoenix News and social posts
BWE News
Telegram Channel posts
X Social posts

TreeNews and Phoenix also deliver some Truth Social posts. The feed identifies them by their link and shows the right platform icon instead of calling them X posts.

The stream is live. A status indicator shows whether it is connected, and you can pause it while you read. While paused, or while you are scrolled down, a counter shows how many new items arrived, and one click returns you to the latest.

What does each news item include?

Each item is enriched before it reaches you:

  • Importance: critical, high, medium, or low.
  • Sentiment: very bullish, bullish, neutral, bearish, or very bearish, shown as a color-coded badge.
  • Category: regulatory, influential figure, partnership, technology, market, exchange, hack, funding, legal, listing, delisting, or macro.
  • Summary: a short AI summary when one is available.
  • Detected symbols: the coins the item mentions.
  • Translation: Turkish text is available, and you choose whether the original or the translation shows first in Language settings.

A deduplication step in the news pipeline detects repeat stories from different providers, so the same news does not fill the feed.

How do I filter the noise?

The importance filter has four settings: All, Medium and above, High and above, and Critical only. Set it to Critical only during quiet hours, and widen it when you are actively watching the tape.

The feed also supports a My Sources toggle. It shows only the X accounts you follow, plus a switch for replies and reposts, which are hidden by default. Following accounts works inside an allowance managed in News Sources settings.

How do detected coins become trades?

Under each item, the coins it mentions appear as chips. A chip for a tradeable market opens that market on the chart when you click it. Hovering lists the venues where it trades, for example an exchange with the PERP or SPOT label, so you can pick the one you want. A chip with a dashed border means the coin was detected but has no tradeable market on your exchanges.

Each item also has a quick trade bar: the symbol, then three long buttons and three short buttons with preset dollar sizes. A press sends the order through smart routing. You set the preset sizes, with optional per-coin overrides, in Trading settings. For typed orders, use Quick Entry with the same symbol.

What are Secret Words?

Secret Words are keyword rules that highlight matching news and fire an alert. A simple rule is one keyword. An advanced rule can combine clauses, and each clause matches any, all, or none of its terms. Terms can be plain phrases, reusable word groups, or regular expressions.

Each rule can:

  • Search the headline, the body, the AI summary, or any mix of them.
  • Filter by symbol, category, or a minimum importance level.
  • Carry its own highlight color, a bullish, bearish, or neutral signal, and a sound.
  • Be tested against sample text before you rely on it.

Can I get notified when I am away?

Notification settings cover breaking news. You choose which importance levels notify you, add watched symbols (up to 100) that always notify at any importance, and pick categories that always notify. On supported devices, push notifications arrive even when the app is closed, and sounds and toasts play while it is open. See alerts for price, spread, funding, and liquidation-distance rules.

Can I see news on the chart?

Yes. A toggle on the chart toolbar shows news markers on the price chart for the current symbol, and older items load as you move back in time. See charting. For a workflow on reading news without chasing it, read trading crypto news.

Headlines are information, not advice. Sentiment labels are automated and can be wrong.

Frequently asked questions

Which sources does the Ninja Terminal news feed use?

The feed combines TreeNews, Phoenix, BWE, Telegram channels, and X posts. TreeNews and Phoenix also carry some Truth Social posts, which the feed labels with their own platform icon.

How is news scored for importance and sentiment?

Each item is analyzed and tagged with an importance level of critical, high, medium, or low. It also gets a sentiment from very bullish to very bearish and one or more categories, such as listing, hack, or macro.

What are Secret Words?

Secret Words are your own keyword rules. A rule can match words in the headline, body, or AI summary, filter by symbol, category, or importance, then highlight the item and play a sound or fire an alert.

Can I trade directly from a headline?

Yes. Detected coins appear as chips, and clicking one opens that market on the chart. Each item also has quick trade buttons with preset dollar sizes that send the order through smart routing, if you have a connected account.
